Home > New Here > What To Expect

It is never easy to visit a new church, so we want to be as

helpful as we can to make your experience a good one.

After all we value your time.

THE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE.

Our worship experience generally last for two hours. We have live upbeat praise

music, as well as intimate songs of worship.  Everyone worships in their own

unique way – for many, that means singing, clapping and raising their hands, and

for others it means speaking in their own prayer language. At Abundant Life,

you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God.

THE OFFERING.

During the praise and worship music, you will see people bringing their tithe and

offering to the altars at the front of the Sanctuary, and praying over it. The Bible

says to present your tithe and offerings to the Lord, so we do not pass a

collection plate or bag unless we take a special offering. We believe that the tithe

is holy unto God, and presenting it to God creates a covenant between Him and us.

In every service Bishop Rick Thomas delivers a relevant, inspiring message that

is based on Scripture, and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life.  We

trust that these messages will help you develop a growing,

successful relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation

for your life. We encourage you to bring a Bible or tablet so that you can follow

along.

THE SERMON.

PRAYING FOR PEOPLE.

We believe that God wants to impact your life through prayer. During a service If

you respond to a call for prayer, please follow the direction of the ushers. Bishop

Rick Thomas and/or other ministers will pray for you.
